- Reported diluted EPS: $1.51 vs. $1.41 a year earlier
- Net revenues: $6.13 billion vs. $6.07 billion a year earlier
Net revenues rose 1.0% in the quarter, driven mainly by higher net revenues in the smokeable products segment. Revenues net of excise taxes increased 3.6% to $5.4 billion.

2026 guidance
The company now expects adjusted diluted EPS of $5.66 to $5.74, a growth rate of 4.5% to 6.0% from a base of $5.42 in 2025. The new range is higher than the one it gave in July, which was $5.61 to $5.72.
The company said the guidance contemplates moderated e-vapor industry growth, increased macroeconomic uncertainty facing adult nicotine consumers, investments in support of its contract manufacturing capabilities, and reinvestment of anticipated cost savings from its Optimize & Accelerate initiative. It also assumes that NJOY ACE does not return to the marketplace in 2026.
The company does not provide a GAAP reconciliation for its adjusted EPS guidance, because it says it cannot estimate on a forward-looking basis the impact of certain special items.
