Costs and margins

CAVA Restaurant-Level Profit Margin was 23.4%, down 120 basis points from the third quarter of fiscal 2025. The company cited incremental labor investments, a higher mix of third-party delivery, and repairs and maintenance spending.

General and administrative expenses were $38.1 million, or 10.7% of revenue, compared with $31.5 million a year earlier. Pre-opening costs were $8.4 million, up from $4.9 million.

The company said the decline in net income was primarily due to higher depreciation and amortization and higher equity-based compensation.
