The sale is part of a targeted €1.2-1.4 billion of non-core asset disposals. The company said these disposals support the intended listing of Ziggo Group in Amsterdam in the middle of 2027, through a spin-off transaction.
The company said proceeds from the tower sale will be used to support de-leveraging at VodafoneZiggo.
Chairman and CEO Mike Fries said: "We welcome the swift EU Commission clearance regarding the sale of our Dutch towers which represents another important step towards the compelling listing of Ziggo Group next year."
The press release also includes preliminary, unaudited information on VodafoneZiggo's expected operating and financial results for the three months ended Sept. 30, 2026. It states that VodafoneZiggo had overall revenue growth in the quarter, but it gives no figures.
Fries also said VodafoneZiggo's "How we win plan" has driven record commercial momentum during the third quarter of 2026.
