DTE Energy reaffirms 2026 operating EPS guidance of $7.59 to $7.73

The company outlined its long-term growth targets and capital expenditure plans in a presentation filed on Monday.

DTE Energy Company (DTE) released its business update presentation on Monday, detailing operating earnings guidance for 2026 and long-term capital plans.

According to a regulatory filing, DTE Energy expects 2026 operating EPS guidance to be in the range of $7.59 to $7.73. The company stated that it is positioned to achieve the high end of the guidance range in 2026 due to favorability from renewable natural gas tax credits at DTE Vantage.

The 2026 operating earnings guidance includes $1,340 million to $1,360 million for DTE Electric, $315 million to $325 million for DTE Gas, $180 million to $190 million for DTE Vantage, and $50 million to $60 million for Energy Trading, offset by Corporate and Other of $(310) million to $(300) million.

DTE Energy targets a long-term operating EPS growth rate of 6% to 8% through 2030, using the 2026 guidance midpoint as the base. The company expects to target equity issuances of $500 million to $600 million annually from 2026 to 2028, with similar levels planned through 2030, driven by a $3.5 billion increase in capital over the next three years to support data center load growth and generation investments.

The capital expenditure plan for 2026 totals $6,720 million to $6,820 million, which includes $5,220 million for DTE Electric, $900 million for DTE Gas, and $600 million to $700 million for non-utility investments.
