Gen Digital Inc. (GEN) Chief Executive Officer Vincent Pilette published a social media post on Monday addressing the company's acquisition strategy, financial outlook, and performance.

Pilette said the company recently raised its fiscal 2027 outlook to 9%-11% revenue growth and mid-to-high-teens non-GAAP EPS growth. The quarter ending October 2 and the full-year outlook are both tracking to the higher end of guidance, according to the filing.

Addressing questions regarding potential acquisitions, Pilette said the company evaluates targets based on strategic fit, pricing, efficiencies, accretion, and comparison to share buybacks while maintaining a balance sheet.

Pilette cited past acquisitions including Avast and MoneyLion. Avast added hundreds of millions of active users and accelerated monetization capabilities, while MoneyLion expanded the company into financial wellness with a scaled decisioning platform and is on track to deliver more than 30% return on invested capital in its second year.

Gen Digital transformed from a low single-digit growth company to double-digits, Pilette said. Six years ago, the company generated $2 billion in revenue and less than $1 of EPS. Today, Gen Digital generates more than $5 billion in revenue and nearly $3 of EPS.
